There were some big surprises in this year's Royal Rumble match (for both the men and women) but one of the biggest came when Santino Marella entered the women's match as "Santina." It was a funny moment and one that paid off when he decided to eliminate himself rather than face some of the formidable female Superstars in the bout.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Santino only actually received a call from WWE a few days before the match took place in order to see if he was available for an appearance.

It was a cool moment and you have to give Marella credit for making that trip to Houston just so he could surprise fans and deliver a feel-good moment. With any luck, WWE will consider bringing him back somewhere down the line as it would be awesome to see more of the Cobra in a WWE ring.

What do you guys think?
