On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, Becky Lynch earned a shot at Asuka at the Royal Rumble. The new didn't really come as a surprise, especially as it was inadvertently announced during an episode of Main Event earlier this month. However, a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reveals that the Irish Lass Kicker could end up pulling double duty at the upcoming PPV.

Apparently, there's been
talk of having Lynch also enter the Royal Rumble, a sign perhaps that Ronda Rousey will cost her the SmackDown Women's Championship forcing her to enter the 30-women bout and then challenge the Baddest Woman on the Planet to a match at the Showcase of the Immortals. Needless to say, that's something which will make a lot of wrestling fans very happy indeed.

Nothing is set in stone but if this does happen, WWE will need to find a way to include Charlotte Flair in the match as the latest rumours point to us getting a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 35.
