Otis Ended Last Night's SMACKDOWN By Teasing A Cash-In On Universal Champion Braun Strowman

SmackDown kicked off with Otis as a guest on Miz TV. While The Miz and John Morrison made fun of the Money in the Bank winner, he shook off their comments, and that led to him being challenged to find a tag team parter (what happened to Tucker Knight?) to face the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions later that night.

Backstage, Otis asked Universal Champion Braun Strowman to lend him a helping hand at Mandy Rose's urging, and that led to a fun tag team match which main evented the show later that night.

They won that after the Monster Among Men hit a running powerslam on Morrison, but as Rose made her way to the ring, Strowman (understandably) got distracted. Behind his back, it looked like Otis was gearing up to attack his partner and potentially cash in to become the new Universal Champion, but he was caught red-handed, and claimed that he was only joking.

Whether or not he was is hard to say, but it made for an interesting moment, and it looks like WWE is taking his win at the Money in the Bank PPV a little more seriously than we might have expected after Sunday night.
