Paige Has Been Removed From Her Position As SMACKDOWN LIVE General Manager

As we expected after last night's "New Era" announcement on Raw, Paige is no longer General Manager of SmackDown LIVE having been officially removed from the position at the start of tonight's show...

Well, this sucks.

Paige was easily the best GM we'd seen on SmackDown LIVE (or Raw, for that matter), but the former Women's Champion has now been removed from the position as The McMahons are once again running the show.

As tonight's installment of the blue brand got underway, Shane McMahon announced that Paige will be stepping down as General Manager, although she will be "sticking around" in some other position. What that'll be is anyone's guess, but it sounds like maybe they haven't figured out what to do with the talented star just yet.

What do you guys make of this development? Drop us a comment down below.
