Paige's New Tag-Team Of Asuka And Kairi Sane Now Has An Official Name: The Kabuki Warriors

No, we're not joking... although we wish we were. In a slight spoiler for tonight's pre-taped episode of SmackDown, it's been revealed that the new tag-team of Kairi Sane and Asuka now have an official name.

The new tag-team of Asuka and Kairi Sane will now be known as The Kabuki Warriors.

Reports from tonight's pre-taped episode of SmackDown LIVE in London reveal that Paige makes the announcement at some point during the show, and that the response was generally mixed. Really, it's not hard to see why. It might be the most unimaginative name we've heard since.. well, since The Viking Warriors! Were The Empress of Tomorrow and the Pirate Princess saddled with The Kabuki Experience first?

Seriously, there's a decent chance Vince McMahon simply sat down and Googled "Japan" and "mask," saw the word Kabuki and ran with it. Sane doesn't even wear a damn mask!

Anyway, rant over. Be sure to tune into SmackDown later on for more.
