Brock Lesnar loves money, so providing WWE makes him an offer he can't refuse, chances are we'll see The Beast back in the ring before too long.
Now, with WWE getting ready to hold shows in front of fans again, there's a lot of speculation that big names are being lined up to make those events truly unmissable. Right now, Edge and John Cena are both advertised for the July 16 episode of SmackDown, so it's clear the company has huge plans to make these live events stand out from what we've seen in the ThunderDome.
What about Lesnar? Well, in a recent interview, Paul Heyman shared his take on a possible return.
"Asking me about Brock Lesnar is a highly intelligent question and I commend you on your efforts. However, it’s a hypothetical. Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do," he said. "If Brock Lesnar wanted to be back in WWE at this moment, at this particular time and place, he would be. Maybe, maybe he has been waiting for the live events, and maybe he’ll choose Houston to make that return… or maybe not, because Brock Lesnar is going to do whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do."
If Lesnar does return, it's going to be very interesting seeing how WWE handles his alliance with Roman Reigns as the Head of the Table's Special Counsel. Could that mean a clash between Reigns and Lesnar is inevitable? Perhaps, but Heyman may also choose to keep his clients separate.
Hopefully, a slightly more definitive update on Lesnar's WWE status will be shared soon.
