At Super ShowDown, Goldberg defeated The Fiend to become the new Universal Champion. Now, following Friday night's episode of SmackDown, the stage has been set for Roman Reigns to challenge the WWE Hall of Famer at this year's WrestleMania.
It's not something a lot of fans appear to be overly excited about, but the @WrestleVotes Twitter account claims that even though Paul Heyman is RAW's Executive Director, he's set to be creatively involved with the Reigns/Goldberg build-up heading into this April's Show of Shows.
Heyman did the same for Reigns' previous storyline with Brock Lesnar, and is good friends with both The Big Dog and Golberg.
This definitely bodes well for the storyline, and it's going to be interesting seeing where things go next for these two. Many fans believe that Golberg should be turned heel, so when Reigns defeats him on the Grandest Stage of Them All, he would be considered a hero by the WWE Universe.
What do you guys think?
