Peyton Royce Has Reportedly Impressed WWE Higher Ups And May Be In Line For A Big Singles Push

Peyton Royce recently parted ways with IIconics tag team partner Billie Kay (they're still friends... or something), and it sounds like the Aussie Superstar may soon be receiving a major singles push...

Last week on Raw, we saw Peyton Royce step up to Asuka and lay down a challenge. The Empress of Tomorrow will defend her title against Zelina Vega at Clash of Champions, but it sounds like that brief confrontation with the former IIconics member may have been a sign of things to come.

Wrestletalk (they're notorious click-whores, but they do seem to have solid contacts) has heard that Royce has not only impressed her peers with her attitude and work ethic, but has also caught Vince McMahon's attention and will most likely receive a strong singles push at some point.

Apprently, Royce has been training hard and improving her ring skills, and is said to have "a lot of opportunities" coming her way.

Peyton always seemed the more likely choice for a decent singles run coming off the IIconics breakup so this shouldn't come as too big a surprise, but it will be interesting to see how things play out moving forward. Billie Kay is still accompanying her former partner to ringside, so it doesn't look like there's a firm plan or storyline in place to build towards just yet. Shocking, we know.

How would you guys feel about a Peyton Royce push? Should Kay be the one to turn on her friend and prompt a face turn? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments down below.
