WWE is planning to make some big changes in the next Draft after SummerSlam, and it's previously been reported it will take place on the August 30 edition of RAW and the September 4 SmackDown.
Now, it's being reported that one idea floating around the company is for Big E to moved to RAW, reuniting The New Day on Monday nights. However, the former Intercontinental Champion would continue being pushed as a singles star meaning this wouldn't be a return o the way things were.
"I’ve heard from a few sources an idea making the rounds – Big E moving from SD to RAW in the post SummerSlam draft while still be pushed as a singles," the @WrestleVotes Twitter account explains. "In essence, New Day back together without necessary being a team. If so, E would become a fresh face for the RAW main event scene."
Big E was separated from Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods during last year's Draft, and has since won singles gold on the blue brand after being pushed as one of SmackDown's top singles star (if not quite a true main eventer). However, his storyline with Aleister Black was dropped when he was released earlier this month and he's yet to challenge for the Universal title.
Hopefully, if Big E does move to RAW, here's hoping he gets a shot at the WWE Championship...
