According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, WWE is currently planning to have The Authors of Pain challenge for the RAW Tag Team Championships at SummerSlam. This makes perfect sense as the company is currently putting a lot of work into building them up in the eyes of the WWE Universe, hence why they so easily defeated Titus O'Neil and Apollo on this Monday's episode of RAW

Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy are the current champions so it will be interesting seeing if they drop the titles to The B-Team (Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas) at Extreme Rules because squashing them makes more sense than Hardy and Wyatt. Then again, pitting those two against the formidable NXT
callups would definitely lead to some interesting storytelling possibilities over the coming weeks.

Whatever the plan may be, NXT fans will no doubt be very happy to see The Authors of Pain finally receive a push as they've been largely ignored since debuting on the main roster months ago.
