This Sunday, WWE Champion AJ Styles will go to war with Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a match many already believe will be nothing short of incredible. It's easy to see why too as it's a contest we never thought we'd actually get to see but with WWE making a big effort to keep The Beast strong ahead of his battle with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, is Styles guaranteed to lose?

Well, a new report has surfaced revealing that the plan could be for Jinder Mahal to interfere in the match and cause Styles to lose. That's being done to ensure the WWE Champion doesn't look weak in defeat and because Vince McMahon wants to keep Lesnar looking as strong as possible as we head into Wrestlemania for a match with Reigns which is almost certainly going to disappoint.

The original plan was going to see Lesnar vs. Mahal with John Cena as the special guest referee. The Modern Day Maharajah would have then blamed Cena for his loss, setting a feud up between them. Instead, it appears as if we can expect to see Styles and Mahal fight each another for the next couple of months (but if we're lucky, the title is going to remain on Styles for the foreseeable future).
