The 24/7 Championship madness ensues, but this time at Comic-Con!
Other than the big announcement of Marvel’s Phase 4 plans, R-Truth defending his belt against former Cruiserweight and WWE Tag Team Champion The Hurricane is the talk amongst the event (or just wrestling fans).
Hurricane pops up at 2:40, and after R-Truth cracks a joke about the wrestling veteran’s weight, the former Cruiserweight Champion tries to take away the belt in front of the audience and two IGN hosts. The Hurricane ultimately fails and leaves the set; however, Drake Maverick – who’s in a banana suit – storms in and tries to once again reclaim the championship from his arch rival.
R-Truth is able to escape with the belt unscathed and Maverick voices his frustration over how the Smackdown Live star has ruined his life. Check out the fun antics of the 24/7 Championship below:
