Big E went one-on-one with Randy Orton on SmackDown LIVE last night, and even though the former NXT Champion dominated much of the match, The Revival eventually got involved and allowed The Viper to hit an RKO for the pinfall victory.

Things didn't end there, however.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson then joined Orton in the ring and laid a brutal beat-down on E, and while they didn't go quite as extreme as they did with Xavier Woods last week, the New Day member may still be out of commission for a while.

Earlier in the night, Orton goaded Kofi Kingston into attacking him and dropped him with a DDT to the concrete, which means all three members of the New Day are now down at the hands of this impressive new faction as we head towards Clash of Champions.

Tune in next week to see if there's any retribution on the cards.
