Could we actually see ‘The Great One’ face ‘The Viper’ at WrestleMania 36?

While the possibility of that match is unlikely to happen due to The Rock confirming that he’s retired, this is the world of professional wrestling, thus anything can happen. Randy Orton challenged the former multi-time WWE Champion to a match at the grandest stage of them all in 2020:

As of this writing, The Rock has yet to respond to Orton’s challenge. These two have faced off somewhat in the ring previously, as Orton, Batista, and Ric Flair took on the reunited Rock N Sock Connection at WrestleMania 20. Orton would get the win for his team by pinning Mick Foley.

The Rock will make an appearance on tonight’s Smackdown Live, maybe we’ll see something between Orton and The Rock during the big show teasing a potential match down the line or, maybe not. We'll surely find out tonight.
