Last night's episode of Smackdown kicked off with the long-awaited return of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
The Tribal Chief didn't acknowledge CM Punk's return or his remarks from last week, but soon found himself having to deal with Randy Orton. The Viper made it clear he's back and looking for revenge and attempted to RKO Reigns after challenging him to a title match at the Royal Rumble next month.
After Reigns named Solo Sikoa the heir to his Tribal throne, Jimmy Uso set out to prove himself in the main even in a match with Orton. The babyface ultimately picked up the win and, after being attacked by Reigns, got a helping hand from LA Knight...and AJ Styles!
The returning Styles is jacked and, despite vanquishing The Bloodline, then appeared to turn heel by attacking Knight from behind. We're not entirely sure what that means, but there's a chance he'll now feud with the rising star heading into next year.
Elsewhere in the show, it was confirmed that Charlotte Flair injured her knee last Friday and will now be sidelined for at least 9 months. Unfortunately, that almost certainly means The Queen will miss WrestleMania.
Despite that, WWE is very much firing on all cylinders right now. You can check out some highlights from SmackDown in the X posts below.
