Randy Orton Once Again Subjected Jeff Hardy To A Sickening Attack On SMACKDOWN LIVE

Though it wasn't quite as disturbing as last week's ear-hole tugging incident (that sounds so wrong), Randy Orton was once again back to his sadistic best on SmackDown LIVE tonight. Find out what went down...

As promised, Jeff Hardy made his way out to the ring tonight on SmackDown to call out Randy Orton after The Viper's vicious assault during last week's show.

After a mercifully short promo (sorry, Jeff) The Legend Killer obliged his prey and went to join him in the ring, but Shinsuke Nakamura beat him to it and hit Hardy with a low blow/Kinshasa combo. Afterwards, Orton stomped all over Jeff, before tearing off his attire, necklace, and finally washing away his face-paint in an effort to "erase the enigma."

As powerful as this was, it would have been a lot more effective if Hardy hadn't only recently revisited this side of his character.

At any rate, it'll be interesting to see where things go from here. If Jeff takes yet another beating from Orton next week we're going to have to assume he pissed someone off backstage!
