Randy Orton Once Again Went To War With Jeff Hardy During SMACKDOWN LIVE's Main Event

Despite Evolution being just days away, last night's SmackDown Live felt like it was phoned in and that's probably why we got such a familiar main event when Randy Orton did battle with Jeff Hardy...again!

Jeff Hardy and Randy Orton have already qualified for Crown Jewel's World Cup tournament but they were pitted against each other during last night's episode of SmackDown Live in the main event.

Things played out pretty much the same way as the last time they met as Orton dominated the Charismatic Enigma and ultimately earned the 1-2-3 with an RKO Outta Nowhere. And that's how the show ended! It's odd that WWE once again decided against sending fans home happy after the heartbreaking news about Roman Reigns' cancer diagnosis but that's the WWE Creative team for you!

Were you happy to see Orton defeat Hardy yet again last night? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section and stay tuned for more updates on Crown Jewel today.
