WWE has released an interview with Randy Orton in which the former WWE Champion talks about his old friend and rival Dave Bautista being inducted into the 2020 Hall of Fame. He has plenty of good things to say about the
Guardians of the Galaxy star but it's what happened when he was asked about his own possible induction that's really noteworthy.
Joking that he doesn't know how the Hall of Fame even works, Orton made it clear that he still has plenty to do inside the squared circle before hanging up his boots to become a Hall of Famer.
"I mean, people say I’m a future first-ballot Hall of Famer. I don’t know, there’s a lot of time between now and then. So who knows what can happen? One day, if I’m fortunate enough to be in the Hall of Fame, it’ll be one hell of an honor. I’m in no hurry to be in the Hall of Fame right now."
Orton recently signed a new multi-year deal with WWE so he's clearly not going anywhere anytime soon and his current rivalry with AJ Styles is definitely a highlight of RAW at the moment.
