We probably should have seen this coming (WWE does like to drag their storylines out, after all), but Randy Orton provided no explanations for his vicious attack on Edge tonight on Raw.

The Viper did kick off the show by making his way to the ring and grabbing the mic, but after the crowd booed every word he attempted to say, he finally uttered "I can't do this" and walked backstage. It is worth noting that Orton didn't appear to be his usual defiant, remorseless self, and did seem to feel bad for his actions.

This may all be part of his game, of course, but it will be interesting to see how this feud with the Rated-R Superstar plays out in the buildup to WrestleMania.
