There’s been rumors that Randy Orton might be rehabbing a knee injury based on his absence from the ongoing WWE international tour and a video his wife posted on social media.

WWE.com has now officially provided an update on The Viper’s condition, stating that he did indeed suffer a “medial meniscus tear in his left knee” and underwent a successful surgery to repair the damage.

It’s unknown how long Orton will be out of action, but the average rehab time for a surgically repaired meniscus is around three months depending on the severity of the initial injury.
