Seth Rollins has found himself a new disciple, and it's none other than former EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory.
There's been dissension in the ranks of Zelina Vega's unnamed faction for a couple of weeks now, and things came to a head last night on Raw when Theory inadvertently(?) cost his team a tag-match against Kevin Owens and Apollo Crews. After Andrade and Angel Garza laid a brutal beatdown on their former amigo, Austin sat dejected at ringside.
Later, Seth Rollins accompanied Murphy to the ring for his match with Aleister Black, and encouraged Theory to get involved. After the double-team attack on the Dutch Destroyer, The Monday Night Messiah embraced his new follower, and Murphy didn't look best pleased about it.
It looks like AOP are going to be out of the picture for the foreseeable, so WWE clearly decided that Rollins needed some more lackeys. Theory is a solid choice, but this definitely feels like creative making things up as they go. What is Rollins' ultimate goal? To blind he rest of the roster like he did Rey Mysterio last week? Watch this space.
