Last night's episode of RAW may have been taped in advance but that doesn't mean it was a throwaway edition of the Monday night show.
For starters, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came face-to-face with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther before their match at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The Austrian claimed to be WWE's true top champion but the American Nightmare hit back by reminding his opponent of how he crumbled at WrestleMania when Sami Zayn gave him his all.
Rhodes finished by reminding Gunther that he's never been in the ring with someone like him.
Shortly after it was announced that Jey Uso will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Bron Breakker next week, we went backstage to find Jimmy try and fail on two occasions to enlist his twin's help in his and Roman Reigns' battle with The Bloodline.
Unsurprisingly, Jey wasn't particularly responsive and walked away from his brother. Whether things will change in the coming weeks as Survivor Series: WarGames nears is hard to say.
While Damian Priest appears to be moving on from his rivalry with Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley isn't done with Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and her new ally Raquel Rodriguez.
After a confrontation earlier in the evening, Ripley teamed up with Money in the Bank briefcase holder Tiffany Stratton to face Morgan and Rodriguez. However, the match was thrown out when Nia Jax interfered; just as Stratton was about to cash in on Morgan, Dominik Mysterio helped her escape.
Elsewhere in the show, the War Raiders returned and Adam Pearce laid the groundwork for a match between Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed.
