RAW: Kairi Sane Returns And Goes One-On-One With Sasha Banks For The First Time Ever

It looks like reports that Kairi Sane is leaving WWE to go back to Japan may have been premature, as The Pirate Princess returned on Raw to back up her partner Asuka and go one-on-one with Sasha Banks...

Despite multiple reports that Kairi Sane has decided to leave WWE and return to Japan (this could still happen at some point, of course), The Pirate Princess returned on Raw last night to back up her Kabuki Warriors tag-team partner Asuka in her feud with Bayley and Sasha Banks.

The Raw Women's Champion was set to face SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley in the main event, freeing The Boss up to take on Sane in a one-on-one encounter for the first time ever.

The bout was solid, but they didn't really get enough time to do anything memorable, and the finish was Bayley rushing the ring to attack Kairi to force a disqualification.

Afterwards, Sane and Asuka challenged The Golden Role Models (that does appear to be the team's given moniker) to put their Women's Tag-Team Championships on the line next Monday night, and Bayley accepted. Sasha didn't seem best pleased, hinting at more dissension in the ranks and possibly setting up a turn down the line.
