Monday night's episode of RAW was a lot of fun as it not only set the stage for some big matches at Hell in a Cell but featured the surprise return of Trish Stratus and an apparent heel turn from Braun Strowman when he laid waste to The Shield alongside Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. However, as this wasn't a post-PPV episode of the show, ratings ended up taking something of a dip.
While last week's RAW drew an impressive 3,096,000 viewers, this Monday's effort managed 2,877,000 viewers. That's not a bad result by any means and the first two hours were actually highly rated with hour one averaging 3,076,000 viewers and hour two drawing 2,927,000 viewers. It was the third that suffered something of a drop with 2,630,000 million viewers, hence that 2.87 average.
RAW was still the #1 show on cable and there's no way WWE will be unhappy with these numbers. Whether or not they'll increase ahead of Hell in a Cell remains to be seen but we'll keep you updated.
