RAW Ratings Dropped This Week For A Mostly Underwhelming Episode
Despite the fact that we're now on the Road to WrestleMania, ratings for this Monday's episode dropped even though WWE advertised a number of big segments beforehand. Find out more after the jump...
This Monday's episode of RAW was watched by 2,510,000 people which is a drop from the previous week's 2,703,000 viewers. It's no great surprise that viewership dipped as the episode after the Royal Rumble was bound to generate a lot of interest. However, the drop is surprising considering how much WWE advertised beforehand, including an appearance from Becky Lynch which kicked off the show.
Hour one drew 2,656,000 viewers, hour two drew 2,552,000 viewers, and the final hour dipped quite significantly with 2,321,000 viewers. Clearly, fans weren't overly invested in seeing Braun Strowman team up with Kurt Angle to take on Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin, especially as all bar the Olympic Gold Medallist have been somewhat overexposed on RAW in recent months in the main event scene.
