Despite a few questionable booking decisions, SummerSlam was a solid PPV and it left fans with plenty to talk about moving into Monday's episode of RAW. While the episode was mostly underwhelming (there was no sign of Brock Lesnar, for example), we got to see Ronda Rousey attack Stephanie McMahon, a Universal Championship match, and the return of The Shield to thwart Braun Strowman.
So, how did all that translate into ratings? Well, the show managed to do a stellar 3,096,000 viewers which is a considerable rise from last Monday's 2,825,000 viewers and the first time the show has passed 3,000,000 viewers since April. Hour one averaged 3,110,000 viewers, hour two drew 3,241,000 viewers, and the final hour of the show averaged a still solid total of 2,936,000 viewers.
