RAW Ratings Pretty Much Returned To Normal For This Week's Underwhelming Episode

With RAW very much in a holding pattern thanks to Backlash being so far away, this week's instalment didn't deliver a whole lot and that was reflected in the ratings. Hit the jump to find out how the show did.

For the past couple of weeks, RAW ratings have been extremely strong. That's because of the post-WrestleMania show and the Superstar Shakeup but this week's instalment dropped significantly as it drew a total of 3,104,000 viewers. While that's by no means bad (anything over three million is always considered a good result), it's still a hefty fall from last Monday's 3,622,000 viewers.

Hour one averaged 3,283,000 viewers, hour two drew 3,210,000 viewers, and the final hour of the show averaged 2,819,000 viewers. Overall, it was quite a disappointing show with not much in the way of big storylines or any key talking points (even Brock Lesnar's return fell flat for the most part).

On the plus side, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens' segment with Kurt Angle was hilarious and the match they had with Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley was a lot of fun. With the Greatest Royal Rumble set to shake things up on Friday, here's hoping that the numbers will now start increasing.
