For the third week in a row, RAW competed against Monday Night Football on ESPN. However, the fallout from No Mercy clearly excited wrestling fans as the show did an average of 2.923 million viewers. That's a decent increase from last week's 2.833 million, especially as Brock Lesnar and John Cena were nowhere to be seen after their big matches the night before.
However, things weren't quite so good in the show's third hour. Hours one and two did 3.121 million and 3.081 million respectively but the final sixty minutes plummeted to 2.568 million!
It's possible that Enzo Amore's Cruiserweight Championship celebration was put on in the third hour because WWE knew viewership would drop but it's equally likely that they hoped it would generate interest. Enzo is a divisive figure who has been making headlines for months but that's clearly not something which translates into ratings. What do you guys think?
