RAW Results: Drew McIntyre's Long Rumored Feud With Jinder Mahal Finally Begins...With A Shocking Theft!

There have been rumours this might be in the works for several months now, but Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal finally embarked on what could be a promising rivalry during last night's episode of RAW...

There weren't a huge number of talking points from last night's RAW (The New Day beat Bobby Ashley and MVP in a tag team match and Charlotte Flair continued toying with Rhea Ripley), but the long rumoured Drew McIntyre/Jinder Mahal appears to have finally begun on the Monday night show.

Both men were once part of 3MB, but as they've since held the WWE Championship and undergone significant gimmick changes, there's been a lot of intrigue surrounding this potential rivalry.

In a hard-hitting match, McIntyre definitely seemed to have the advantage but found himself jabbed in the throat and suplexed onto the announce table shortly before the commercial break. Back in the ring, the Scottish Superstar regained the advantage and set the Modern Day Maharaja up for the Claymore.

Unfortunately, Mahal's heavies, Veer and Shanky, got involved and caused a disqualification.

Mahal then stole McIntyre's sword, a "family heirloom" it appears they will be facing off over in the weeks to come. This could be a throwaway feud or a lot of fun, and we'll see how seriously WWE pushes Mahal.

Check out some highlights from the match below:
