Nikki Cross' superhero gimmick has really resonated with fans, and she had a big singles match on this week's RAW against Shayna Baszler.
Cross is really embracing her new persona and pulled off a lot of impressive moves despite often being overpowered by her opponent. Eventually, Alexa Bliss would make her way to the ring and that led to more weirdness ensuing; however, it was a couple of well-placed kicks to Nia Jax and Reginald that opened the door to Cross scoring the 1-2-3 with a roll up on Baszler.
Elsewhere in the women's division, Eva Marie talked about Doudrop walking out on her last week and ended up doing the same to the former Piper Niven in their match against Naomi and Asuka.
Despite that, Doudrop managed to take out the two women herself, leaving a shocked Eva to once again announce herself the winner. This feels like a storyline WWE is very much going through the motions with and it's hard to say what the endgame could be...and whether it will be any good!
