Austin Theory has been absent from WWE television for the past few weeks, and a new report indicates that the former NXT Superstar and EVOLVE Champion has actually been suspended.
According to Dave Meltzer, the talented up-and-comer has been placed on "unannounced suspension of a sort." No reason was provided, but Theory was recently accused of inappropriate behavior as part of the #SpeakingOut movement, so that might have something to do with it.
Theory was brought to Raw as part of Zelina Vega's stable with Andrade and Angel Garza, but he was soon booted from that group and joined Seth Rollins as one of his "disciples." Fans had assumed his absence must be down to him not wanting to work during the pandemic, but if Meltzer is correct, there's obviously more to it.
For what it's worth, we've heard that Theory will soon return to Monday Night Raw to rejoin Rollins and Murphy as part of the current angle with Dominik Mysterio as we head towards SummerSlam, so watch this space for updates.
