The last time Drew McIntyre wrestled in WWE was late August when the company toured Mexico. Well, if you've wondering why he's been M.I.A. since then, it's now been revealed that he's been out of action with a lingering injury.

The Scottish Psychopath reportedly underwent minor surgery recently and should be back next month ready for the build to PPVs like Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble.

According to PW Insider, the injury isn't too serious, hence why he's expected to be in action fairly soon and could be cleared as soon as next week. It sounds like he's ready to go but it ultimately boils down to when WWE decides he's ready to step back into the squared circle.

We'll let you guys know if we hear more!
