There was speculation over the weekend that Roman Reigns might be injured but wrestling fans were left reeling last night on RAW when he announced that he's suffering from Leukaemia. Vacating the Universal Championship, The Big Dog promised that he will return and a tearful Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came out to comfort their Shield brother as the show went to commercial break.

Now, WWE has released a video revealing what happened next behind the scenes and, as you can see, Reigns was met by his fellow Superstars and received an outpouring of support from them.

There's no timetable on when Reigns could return to the squared circle and it depends on a number of factors but it's great to see this sort of response and the fact that the #ThankYouRoman hashtag is still trending is great to see. With any luck, we'll hear more from Roman over the coming months as he keeps fans updated about his condition so be sure to stay tuned for further details.
