It's been revealed today that this week's episode of RAW drew 2.15 million viewers. That's a 3% drop from last Monday but probably not the result WWE was likely hoping for seeing as TLC takes place this Sunday. It's hard not to wonder whether this is a result of Vince McMahon's decision not to announce PPV matches too far in advance.
After all, if fans knew what was coming at a show like that a bit sooner, they might be more inclined to tune into RAW and see what's going on with particular rivalries!
Regardless, it's thought that this drop is likely down to strong competition from New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles game that drew 11.36 million viewers for what was thought to be Eli Manning's final game. On the plus side for WWE, viewership remain steady as hour one of RAW drew 2.26 million viewers, hour two did 2.20 million viewers, and hour three remained steady with 2.00 million viewers.
