RAW Viewership Increased Thanks To The Return Of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar

This week's RAW kicked off with the return of Brock Lesnar as his Universal Championship match against Kane and Braun Strowman was made official for next month's Royal Rumble PPV. How did that impact ratings?

Plenty happened during this week's episode of RAW, including the announcement of an all-female Royal Rumble match at next month's PPV. However, the biggest draw was obviously the return of Brock Lesnar as General Manager Kurt Angle announced that he will defend his Universal Championship against Kane (someone he's never faced before) and the monstrous Braun Strowman.

The show kicked off with The Beast hitting the ring which probably explains why hour one average 3,085,000 million viewers. Hour two did 2,803,000 million viewers, and the final hour drew 2,470,000 million viewers which isn't a bad drop considering the fact RAW had to go up against the Falcons-Buccaneers game on ESPN which drew a far bigger audience of 6,411,000 million viewers.

The average rating for the show was 2,786,000 million viewers which
is up from last week's total of 2,684,000 million viewers. Did you guys tune into RAW this week? Let us know in the usual place.
