Well, this is a surprise! With one week to go until the special 25th anniversary of RAW, ratings for the show surged as Braun Strowman went on an insane rampage and Seth Rollins brought back the Curb Stomp.

Monday night's episode of RAW was the best instalment in quite some time as we saw Seth Rollins do battle with Finn Balor in a main event bout which was a rematch from their clash at SummerSlam a couple of years ago. Things also kicked off with Braun Strowman being fired, a decision by Kurt Angle which resulted in him going on a rampage that culminated in a truck being flipped over.

With RAW 25 also on the horizon (not to mention the Royal Rumble), fans were clearly interested in the show as a whopping 3.250 million viewers ended up tuning in. That's a 17.5% increase from last Monday's 2.766 million viewers and the first time RAW has drawn more than 3 million viewers since November. It's also the highest overall rating in just under five months which is impressive.

The first hour drew 3.573 million viewers, the second hour drew 3.363 million viewers and the final hour suffered the typical drop of 2.814 million viewers. Despite that, WWE must be feeling pretty damn happy right now and ratings should surge again next week when a plethora of legends make their return to the company. What did you guys think of this episode of RAW? Sound off below.
