RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss Offers Some Promo Advice To Ronda Rousey After Her Shaky Mic Work
Ronda Rousey has impressed in almost every way since officially debuting on Raw, but her promos still need a lot of work. During an interview, Women's Champ Alexa Bliss offers some advice to her new colleague.
It's clear that Ronda Rousey has intensity to burn, and the former UFC legend has excelled in that regard since becoming a WWE Superstar - however, nobody could deny that she's still very shaky on the mic.
This is completely understandable given her background, and as Raw Women's Champ Alexa Bliss acknowledges during an interview with ESPN’s Arash Markazi, it takes a lot of practice before anyone gets comfortable addressing a massive live audience:
"It took me forever to get comfortable. When I first started NXT, we had promo classes, and I used to get so upset because I couldn’t get in front of a crowd and talk. I was terrified. Actually, our referee Shawn Bennett was just talking about my first promo class. I stood up there and started crying because I was really embarrassed to be in front of a large group and speaking. I performed in front of large crowds before, but I never had to speak in front of them, so it’s just one of those things you have to keep doing and doing. You have to put yourself in the most uncomfortable situations and make them comfortable.”
Rousey is scheduled to appear on every episode of Raw in the buildup to her match at WrestleMania, so hopefully that will give give her a few opportunities to hone her mic skills.
