RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch Is Now Among The Highest Paid Wrestlers In WWE

A few years ago, we heard a lot about women in WWE not being paid anywhere near as much as male Superstars in the company but something has clearly changed based on how much Becky Lynch is earning now...

It seems WWE really has taken steps to change how women are treated in the company because a note in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter from Dave Meltzer reveals just how much RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch is currently earning.

Apparently, "The Man" signed a new deal last year that means she receives $1 million per year. That was made official sometime around WrestleMania but she's not the only female Superstar in the company to have received a pay rise by the sound of it as WrestlingNews.co adds a few other names to the list.

Dana Brooke, Lana, and Sasha Banks have all also received significant pay rises and that's likely a result of women being featured more heavily in storylines which now draw big ratings. During 2019, Lynch was responsible for some of the highest rated segments.

Oh, and if you hadn't realised, this does indeed confirm that the talk of Lynch's contract nearing its end during her current storyline with Asuka is indeed just that.
