Last October, Nia Jax took some time away from WWE TV.

This is hardly a big deal, but what caused the story to gain more traction than usual was the amount of conflicting rumors that emerged as to the reasons why.

Everything from Jax being unhappy with creative, to her cousin The Rock advising her to step away, to mysterious "personal problems" were given as reasons for her absence by various different individuals, but it looks like we finally have the truth.

Here's what the Irresistible Force has to say during an interview with Pop Culture:

"It wasn’t something that was that big of a deal. I had actually had an injury that happened to me personally on a flight—an overhead bag fell directly on top of my head while I was on a plane. I was out of it, I was completely out of it. I’m not kidding you.”

So, this is actually contrary to something Jax has previously said about the situation - but okay, case closed!
