Could we see a women’s match main event WrestleMania for the second year in a row?
According to WrestleVotes, who's a knowledgeable source who spilled the news about Samoa Joe being suspended for the wellness policy and several other big reports, the RAW Women’s Championship match between Shayna Baszler and Becky Lynch could end up headlining the first night of WrestleMania 36:
Of course, WrestleVotes makes it clear that this isn’t a lock; however, it’s very interesting that Baszler/Lynch could possibly be the main event. Earlier this month, former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey was seen down at the WWE Performance Center, with reports stating that the 33-year-old was in talks with officials regarding her future with the company.
It’s possible that one of the discussions involved Rousey playing a part of the RAW women’s match at the grandest stage of them all. While this is just pure speculation, Rousey returning to the WWE to screw over Lynch could explain the match-up getting the main event treatment. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens next weekend.
