Ember Moon is the latest WWE Superstar to go down with an injury, and will have to go under the knife.

WWE released a video in which The War Goddess confirms that she "messed up her elbow" during the Royal Rumble, and will require immediate surgery. The former NXT Women's Champion says she doesn't know how long she'll be on the shelf, but that it "will be a while."

Moon was really just starting to find her feet on the main roster so the timing sucks here - not that there's ever a good time to be out of action with an injury.

We wish Ember a speedy recovery and hope to see her back delivering those awesome Eclipses very soon.
