On this Monday's episode of RAW, Renee Young did an incredible job calling the action and made it clear that she's more than ready to move into that role on a permanent basis (hopefully replacing Coach in the process). While she'll more than likely serve as an announcer for the upcoming Evolution PPV, the former Total Divas star has now revealed that he hopes to return to RAW.
"I hope so! Oh my gosh, I would be so happy if that was the case. All I could think of afterward, and not even afterward — like during — you know like when you’re in the process of something happening and you don’t get to absorb it all? I mean I guess during a three-hour show you do get a moment to absorb it, but all I could think was, ‘Man, I want to keep doing this.’ It felt like so much fun, it just felt right. It felt right to me, and I loved that. It was great."
There's no way WWE will have been able to ignore the overwhelmingly positive response to Young's work on Monday night and it's easy to imagine Evolution being a stepping stone for her. Coach has become renowned for being terrible so her replacing him is very much a best case scenario but whatever happens, Young has proved that she's deserving of a place at the announce desk.
