It looks like Renee Young may be about to part ways with WWE.

According to Outkick.com (now confirmed by PWInsider), the popular broadcaster and former commentator handed in her notice last week. It's not known exactly when she'll be finishing up with the company, but she is expected to work SummerSlam weekend.

Young broke onto the scene as a backstage interviewer, before transitioning into a full-time announcer for Monday Night Raw. She admits to never being fully comfortable in that role, however, and soon went on to host the now cancelled WWE Backstage with Booker T and CM Punk.

No reason was given as to why Renee decided to leave (it can't be a good feeling to have every show you're a part of cancelled), but her departure is sure to be a massive blow to WWE.

This news has yet to be confirmed, but WWE usually follow up PW Insider reports with an official announcement, so keep an eye out for updates.
