WWE Backstage premieres on FOX Sports 1 next Tuesday and Renee Young is promising a big surprise for fans. As you can see in the video below, the former RAW commentator says that the show's first guest is "huge news" and their presence is a "very big deal."

Apparently, their name will be revealed during Friday Night SmackDown and it's hard to escape the feeling that this could be CM Punk!

There are, of course, plenty of other people who would fit into that category but Punk's presence would definitely get fans talking and sure big viewership numbers for this first episode. Young also confirms that a taped segment with John Cena and Rob Gronkowski will also be shown.

Rumours have persisted about the latter joining WWE for years now.
