RETRIBUTION made an appearance in the final segment of SmackDown after debuting (very) briefly on Raw this past Monday, and the mysterious new faction destroyed the place in a segment very reminiscent of Nexus' debut from a few years back.

The five masked individuals tore up the set and beat up some of the spectators behind the Plexiglas, before destroying the ring itself. One of them even produced a chainsaw to slice through the ring-ropes.

We still have no idea who any of these guys are, but two of them appear to be women. Most of them are of average height (some a little on the short side), which has led to speculation that they'll turn out to be disgruntled members of 205 Live's Cruiserweight Division. If so, we're sure they'll prove to be an intimidating presence in the WWE locker rooms moving forward.

In all seriousness, there is a lot of potential here, but it'll all depend on how the big reveal is handled and what kind of push these guys are given once we find out who they are.

Do you have any guesses as to who might be under those hoods?
