Rey Mysterio Addresses His Future In WWE: "I Don’t See Myself Doing This Many More Years"

Rey Mysterio has suffered a number of injuries in recent years (which is why his WrestleMania match was so short), and the Master of the 619 has now weighed in on how many years in the ring he has left.

It's fair to say that Rey Mysterio will go down as one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time, and it's fitting that he's now looking to end his career in WWE after spending a number of years doing the Indies.

Now, the Master of the 619 has confessed that he believes his career is starting to wind down. "I definitely don’t see myself doing this many more years longer. So, those kind of things bring the desire within me that I can still do this. I can still go. But if I was to do this on the schedule [that he used to have] I don’t think I could handle it."

Mysterio is in great shape and despite suffering a handful of unfortunate, minor injuries in recent months (his ankle injury is why that WrestleMania with Samoa Joe was cut short), he surely has plenty of gas left in the tank for the foreseeable future.

Who Mysterio will feud with next remains to be seen but things should become clearer after next week's Superstar Shakeup.
