Yesterday evening, Rey Mysterio managed to defeat Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank to become the new United States Champion. The match ended in controversial fashion as a replay showed that Joe's shoulders weren't on the mat and the beatdown the Master of the 619 suffered after the bell has definitely set the stage for a rematch.

However, this win means that Mysterio has also made history because he's now a Grand Slam Champion!

His United States title win marks the first time he's held the belt and as a winner of the world title, tag team titles, and Intercontinental title, he's been added to the history books. Mysterio is a former WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion, 4-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and finally a 2-time Intercontinental Champion and United States Champion.

Are you excited for a rematch or do you think this storyline has already run its course? Let us know below.
