Talk about bad timing. WWE has revealed that Rey Mysterio suffered an ankle injury during his match with Baron Corbin during Monday night's episode of RAW. He competed in the main event on behalf of Kurt Angle and the injury must be relatively serious considering the fact his planned match with Andrade on SmackDown Live was cancelled last-minute.

With WrestleMania just days away, there's still time for Mysterio to recover but his United States Championship match against Samoa Joe at the Showcase of the Immortals is definitely at risk now.

It's possible the bout will still happen, of course, and that Andrade could replace him. Then again, there have been rumours about John Cena challenging Joe for the title as that was reportedly the original plan for the PPV. As always, stay tuned for more updates as we have them.
