Rey Mysterio returned to Raw this week for the first time since the gruesome "globe luxation" injury he suffered at the hands of Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules.

The legendary luchador made his way to the ring with his son Dominik, who was still feeling the effects of The Monday Night Messiah and Murphy's brutal kendo stick attack from last week. Rey said he never felt rage like he did when he was forced to watch his son mercilessly beaten, and revealed that he would be in Dom's corner for his Street Fight with Rollins at SummerSlam to ensure that wouldn't happen again.

Believing Rey and Dominik to be easy pickings, Seth and Murphy arrived after first taunting the Mysterios from the screen. But Rey and Dom had a plan, and ended up ambushing the heels with kendo sticks.

They didn't manage to really wear Rollins and his disciple out, but they did get a few good shots on.

Rey being at ringside for Dom's match obviously adds another dynamic to this Street Fight, as it means both he and Murphy can legally get involved. Mysterio's involvement might just hand his son his first victory this Sunday at SummerSlam.
