Rey Mysterio Will Challenge Seth Rollins For The Universal Championship Next Week On RAW

It's safe to say Rey Mysterio's losing streak is over! The legendary Luchador was the last Superstar standing in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match on Raw, and will face Seth Rollins for his title next wek.

Seth Rollins is set to face Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell, but he'll have to get past Rey Mysterio first.

Last night on Raw, the legendary Luchador outlasted Robert Roode, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match to earn the right to face Rollins for the Universal Championship on next week's show.

In the end, it came down to Rey and Roode, and the Ultimate Underdog was able to counter multiple Glorious DDT attempts to hit his signature 619/Frog Splash combo to pick up the win.

Mysterio had been on a losing streak and considered retirement (storyline) a few weeks back, so it's great to see him getting this push - even if him actually winning the title is highly unlikely.
